Berkeley Drones Press is developing a specialist publishing program in partnership with Springer for rigorous books on autonomous systems as both a field of research and a practical undertaking.
The program will bring together researchers, engineers, policymakers, and practitioners whose work crosses the distance between first principles and deployment. Its initial list will address topics including autonomy, multi-drone systems, digital twins, advanced manufacturing, public policy, infrastructure, sensing, and mission-critical operations.
SUBMISSIONS
We are seeking rigorous books the field can use.
Berkeley Drones Press welcomes proposals and manuscripts from researchers, engineers, policymakers, operators, and other experts whose work can deepen understanding of drone systems and the institutions developing around them. We are especially interested in projects that connect technical rigor with real-world application.
Promising projects are considered by our editorial board for intellectual fit, originality, practical significance, and contribution to the field. Authors whose projects are selected for further consideration will be contacted for an editorial conversation and guided through the formal proposal and review process.
